About St Pete Beach
Paradise might be located on a piece of St. Pete Beach real estate, whether you want to work here, escape the cold winter here, build your business here or just relax on a warm sun kissed vacation. Everything you need is here and the big city attractions of nearby St. Petersburg real estate add to the appeal.
Our beautiful beach community of 10,000 full time residents sits on a barrier island along the Gulf Coast just west of St. Petersburg. The sun shines most days on the white sand waterfront that is the pride of the city. St. Pete Beach offers a relaxed, family friendly lifestyle in a safe environment full of small town spirit. And we may be the only town that considers a benefit of the new beach lighting project is that newly hatched baby sea turtles will be better able to make their way quickly to the Gulf water.
Snowbirds and vacationers find lots to love in our area too, so tourism is a major focus of business here. We are hosts to people from all over the world. Several organizations such as the Business Assistance Partnership Specialists assist business owners with start up or developing their business.
There’s always something to do. St. Pete Beach has wonderful parks and beach areas for outdoor pleasure. We have the Suntan Arts Center and Historic Corey Shopping District where you can browse for unique treasures in interesting specialty stores or see what’s playing at the Beach Theater. There are a variety of events scheduled throughout the year.
The hub of action for all ages is the the 11,000 sq. foot Community Center Complex. It holds the St Pete Beach Aquatic Center with a Jr. Olympic Pool used for classes, competition, exercise and just plain fun. Kids will love the playground. The gym and fitness room appeal to the health conscious.
There are activities geared to children, teens and adults to seniors whether its classes, clubs or card groups. If you like softball or basketball, you might want to join a league, watch the kids play or just have a pickup game with friends. Come and have fun!
St Pete Schools
Pinellas County Public Schools aim to” prepare each student for college, career and life”. Students attend a standard school or can apply for admission to charter, magnet or fundamental schools in the system. There are several private schools in the area as well.
