St. Petersburg, St. Pete Beach Real Estate Best Homes -- Blue Ribbon Service

When it comes to serving her clients...

Terri knows how to get things done

Before Terri became a real estate agent, she spent the bulk of her career as a sales executive selling hi-tech to Fortune 500 companies.  Her clients entrusted their information systems to her recommendations.  Her Florida clients included top area financial firms, colleges, and leaders in the transporation industry.  Negotiation skills were hard-won -- beating out larger competitors time and time again.

Hi-tech can be a very high-stress field and during one of her frequent trips to Florida she decided, "Why not live where I feel the happiest?".  So she went home to Ohio, put her home up for sale and left six weeks later -- with only her two kids, Veronica, 8 and Nicholas, 5, the cars, the cat and their clothes.  She loved St. Petersburg best and that's where they put down their roots.

That was ten years and a whole career ago.  Today, Terri's two children are almost grown and they have a Doberman named Max.  Veronica graduated with honors from Admiral Farragut Academy in St. Petersburg and is studying Interior Design at Cornell University on an Army ROTC scholarship.  Nick is a junior at AFA, works in his spare time and is pursuing his leadership goals.

A Family in Love...

"I fell in love with Florida when I was a teenager," says Terri.  "The sunsets, the wildlife, the warm temperatures, and of course, the beaches!.  I did have a hard time getting used to the lizards and palmetto bugs.  When I first moved from Ohio I freaked out every time I saw one!"

A favorite family activity is packing a lunch and heading to Fort De Soto for a long lazy afternoon.  "We head first to the dog beach to tire Max out first", Terri grins, " and then we settle in for a leisurely family picnic."

Veronica has recently obtained her real estate license and hopes to help her mom out during her summers off from Cornell.

A Word from Terri about her personal philosophy:

There are two great quotes that I think really sum up how I approach my work and my life.

"Never, never, never give up" -- Winston Churchill

"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams!  Live the life you've imagined."  -- Thoreau

I have had these two quotes on magnets on my refrigerator since I can't remember when.  There are aspects of real estate sales that seem pretty simple. I've been a single mom for over ten years now and there were many times I did want to give up -- but one is now graduated and going to an Ivy League School and the other is well on his way.  I left the security of my family up north ten years ago to start a new life for us in a beautiful area of the country -- St. Petersburg, FL -- and I have never looked back!

There are many elements of a smooth transaction, however, that are complicated and daunting.  I will never give up working for my clients and I will approach our transaction with positve energy and a competent plan for success.

I will never give up helping you confidently in the direction of YOUR dreams.  You CAN live the life you have imagined!  I did!
